Methodology
Data comes from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2024 American Community Survey (5-Year Estimates). Homeownership rate is calculated as the number of owner-occupied housing units divided by total occupied housing units. The analysis includes U.S. cities and census-designated places with populations of at least 65,000 residents. All figures represent Census estimates and are subject to standard margins of error.
